The fins fix to the large plate above the propelleron an outboard motor known as the “cavitation plate”.Hydrofoil fins offer several possible performance and handling enhancingbenefits.
They can improve stern lift on acceleration and can stop water that is splashing up from the prop and going into the boat,reduce cavitation and propellerslip,and improve fuel economy.

N.B. You will need to drill the cavitation plate in order to fit them.
